Forbes Earnings Preview: Caterpillar

Expectations have dropped for Caterpillar's (CAT) first quarter results in the month leading up to the company's earnings announcement slated for Monday, April 22, 2013. The consensus analyst estimate has dropped from $1.48 a share to the current estimate of earnings of $1.34 a share.
